DUKUNGAN PERANGKAT LUNAK & TEKNIS

So, once again the use of the ADB and Fastboot features can definitely always be used on every Android Smartphone, whether it comes from any brand, any class, you can definitely use the ADB and Fastboot features.

Because ADB and Fastboot are indeed part of the original features on the Android OS, so the Brand will not affect whether or not this feature can be used on the Android Smartphone you have.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ANDROID USB DRIVERS AND OEM USB DRIVERS

Continuing from the discussion above, namely the USB Driver on every brand of Android Smartphone is the same, why do OEMs / Vendors still make a USB Driver?

Actually, this question is indeed very worthy to be asked, so here we will explain about it.

As we have mentioned above, all Android Smartphones can run the original features of the Android OS, such as ADB and Fastboot, then the Android OS is an Open Source OS, if you already understand this, then you will be able to answer the question above.

The answer is because the Android OS is an Open Source OS, it is natural for Smartphone Makers to create a special Driver for their own Products, meaning that the Driver can be integrated with the applications / software they have created, for various needs such as Maintenance, Productivity, Utilities and Development.

Then what is the relationship with the ADB and Fastboot features? yes, once again because the Android OS is Open Source, many Vendors and OEMs implement these features so that they are easy to use by their Customers.

For example, the Maintenance or Development application, rather than running it with the default method, which is only using the Command Line from CMD, OEMs make it easier by releasing a special application that can be used by its users to do things like Flashing to Debugging.

Call it the Mi Flash Tool application from Xiaomi, it is an official application from the Xiaomi OEM, the basic method is to use the default Fastboot capability of the Android OS, only in the application the navigation has been made easier.

The result is that Xiaomi / Redmi users can perform Flashing actions, with just one click of a button, if using manual CMD, then there are dozens of Command Lines that you must enter.

Next, can the Mi Flash Tool application be used by Oppo Android Smartphone users? the definition of course not, then this is where the importance of the USB Driver from the OEM lies, because this USB Driver acts as an identifier for the connection you make, so that it can be read and integrated into special applications that have been made by OEM for its users, do you understand the difference? if so, please continue to the next discussion.

HOW TO ACTIVATE DEVELOPER MODE AND USB DEBUGGING

The next discussion is related to the requirements needed to install the Android Smartphone USB Driver, but this can be required or not in the installation process.

However, both of these options must be activated when you want to use the ADB and Fastboot features or when using tools made by vendors such as Flashing or Development Tools.

Why can Development Mode and USB Debugging be required or not when installing the Android USB Driver? This is because there are different methods in installing the Android USB Driver.

If you install Android USB on Windows OS manually, then it is clear that you must activate both options first, then connect to the computer you have with a USB cable, so that you can update / install the driver manually from the Device Manager application.

However, in some other types of Android Smartphones, this feature does not actually need to be activated and you also do not need to connect your Android Smartphone to a Windows PC just to install the USB Driver.

This happens because the OEM in question has created a special Installer for the USB Driver they built, so just click Next and Install, then this USB Driver is installed on your Windows Computer.

As a comparison, Samsung Android Smartphones have a special USB Driver Installer, so you don't need to activate the Development Mode and USB Debugging options, nor do you need to connect your Android Smartphone to your Computer with a USB cable, because Samsung's USB Driver comes with an Installer Format.

Unlike the USB Driver from Sony's Android Smartphone, you must activate both of these features and connect your Android Smartphone to a Windows PC with a USB cable, because the Sony USB Driver Installation method is done manually, meaning there is no Installer in the USB Driver package they release.

So things like this are actually easy to understand. However, both of these options must be active when you want to do Flashing or anything related to the Android OS System (Firmware / ROM).

Because Development Mode is needed so that the Android OS System knows and the security mode does not block activities related to the System problem.

Next, USB Debugging needs to be active, because the technical matters will be run through the Windows OS, all commands, all executions will be run remotely from a connection using a USB cable.

So, these two options cannot be separated from the activities of Maintenance, Repairing, Flashing, Development and Debugging.

If you are a new Android Smartphone user and do not know anything about these two options and you are also not in the Settings Menu, this is natural, because this option is indeed hidden by default, to be able to activate it, please follow the method below
